Robot Daisy can be inserted into underground pipes through hydrant, any existing T junctions, or a customized T junction if there is not one. hey, i am working as well on same case, but this robot has zero chances to work in real environment where is water and pipes are underground

Yes. It is dead reckoning plus some loop closure for error correction

How do you keep the pipe pressurised while entering and robot exiting?
We do use a launch tool. It is a section of pipe to the Tee junction on the pipeline. This attachment has two valves one on each end.
